VEBE CONSISTOMETER APPARATUS

This test method is a variation of the simple slump test and subjects the concrete to vibration after removal from the slump cone. The new Nailik NL4005-02 series Vebe Consistometer is designed for use in determining the consistency and density of roller-compacted concrete. The test can be performed on both laboratory and field prepared freshly mixed concrete with a maximum aggregate size 2’’ (50mm) or less. In addition to roller compacted concrete, the device can be on cement treated , aggregates and soil cement type mixer.  Meets ASTM C1170 Test Method for consistency and density determinations of roller-compacted concrete Can be used on both laboratory and field prepared mixes
